A TEENAGER has appeared before Bexley magistrates charged with four counts of robbery.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to be responsible for a series of street robberies in which he assaulted his victims in order to take their property.
Violence increased with every robbery and in one case a victim was robbed while unconscious after being bitten and hit with a bottle.
The youth, who lives in Thamesmead, was arrested by police on January 5.
He was remanded in custody by Bexley magistrates on January 11, to appear at the Inner London Crown Court today.
