HEALTHY eating is on the menu for visitors to a market for the next two months.
Residents looking to shed the pounds after Christmas can join free nutrition tours around Lewisham Market in Lewisham town centre.
The tours, being run by council-backed regeneration group Urban Renaissance Lewisham, aim to educate people on the benefits of healthy eating.
Market-goers will be able to taste different fruits and vegetables on sale at the market and will be given a list of healthy recipes.
Deputy mayor Councillor Gavin Moore said: "Traditional markets offer good value for money, an excellent range of fruit and vegetables and have a great atmosphere."
The tours run until March. To book a place, call 020 8314 6502.
