MP JOHN Horam is so convinced by News Shopper's Daylight Saving Campaign he plans to raise it in the House of Commons at the first opportunity.
Mr Horam says change is necessary to help safeguard our environment and improve everyone's quality of life.
Editor Andrew Parkes welcomed Mr Horam's commitment to the campaign.
He said: "I have received a huge pile of letters from readers backing us in our fight to get double daylight saving accepted and am convinced the majority of people want change.
"However, the only way we can achieve what we all want is to get the matter raised in Parliament and persuade MPs from all parties to support our call and vote for change.
"I will now write to all our MPs personally and invite them to pledge their support for Double Daylight Saving and commit to voting for change."
