INFANT school pupils learnt about the role of a church in the community.
More than 60 youngsters took a short walk from Riverview Infant School, Cimba Wood, Gravesend, to St Aidan's Parish Church, St Aidan's Way, Gravesend.
Reverend Peter Rich showed the children, aged between five and seven, around the church building.
He explained to them the role the church plays in the community.
The visit was part of the children's religious education curriculum.
Headteacher Heather Suggitt said: "Visits within our area are very important for children to feel the school is part of the community.
"It's good for the children to visit Reverend Rich and learn about the church."
