A COUNCIL clean-up team will spruce up a borough by taking on three areas in a week-long blitz.
The deep clean team from Dartford Council will tackle graffiti, litter and overgrown vegetation in Stone, Castle and Greenhithe.
The week-long clear-up began on Monday.
Pupils from St Mary's CEP School, Hayes Road, Stone, are lending a helping hand by clearing their school grounds.
The children will be armed with litter picks and joined by parents, teachers and members of the deep clean team on January 19.
Dartford Council deputy leader Councillor Jeremy Kite said: "The deep clean programme is hugely successful and makes a real difference to the environment of communities."
