A BOROUGH'S churches are uniting to celebrate a national week of prayer with a service.
The event will take place at the Gravesend Methodist Church, Milton Road, Gravesend, on January 25 at 8pm.
The service is hosted by Churches Together in Gravesham, a group of churches across the borough which form links with each other.
The group is celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which is held annually between January 18 and January 25.
The national week promotes opportunities to meet fellow Christians of different denominations.
Baptist regional minister for Kent Tony Cross will lead the service.
The service marks the start of the methodist church's centinary celebrations.
