SHOP workers raised almost £4,500 for terminally-ill children by walking around their store.
More than 1,200 staff from John Lewis, Bluewater, decided to back Dartford-based charity Ellenor Shining Lights for their annual fundraising event.
While some were sponsored to walk the shop's floors others cycled the shopping centre's grounds completing 1,721 miles in three days.
Other staff took part in a weight-loss challenge shedding pounds to raise extra cash.
Sales assistant Shirley Sargeant said: "All the staff really pulled together. It was the first time we have done something like this and it was fantastic to raise so much."
The charity provides help for children across north-west Kent suffering from life-threatening illnesses, including cancer.
Volunteer coordinator for Ellenor Roger Francis said: "Their support is very much appreciated. We are always in need of extra helping hands.
