THE porridge was just right for children who watched a pantomime as a back-to-school treat.
Teachers at Ashgrove School, Widmore Road, Bromley, organised the performance of Goldilocks and the Three Bears to brighten up the beginning of the spring term.
The entire school of children aged between three and 11 walked to the performance at Carey Scutt Hall, Plaistow Lane, Bromley, but did not know why they were going there.
Principal Patricia Ash said: "The pantomime provided wonderful entertainment which just goes to show going back to school after Christmas isn't so bad after all."
The event was part of the school's 20th anniversary celebrations.
It formed in 1986 with just 13 pupils and now has 110.
