AN AWARD scheme for young people is searching for those who may not be high flyers but are real triers.
The annual Try Angle awards for 12 to 20-year-olds concentrate on rewarding young people who put extra effort into their activities.
There are six categories: bravery; personal achievement in the arts, music, sport or an outdoor activity; service to the community; personal development; good friends and young carers and a group award.
The nominees and their guests will attend an event on February 23 to be presented with their trophies.
Each nominee will receive a certificate.
Nominations can be made by anyone, from family and friends to teachers and youth workers. The deadline is on Friday.
For details on how to nominate someone, call the awards team on 020 8836 8236 or email bexley.ebp@ bexley.gov.uk
