AN NHS Trust has re-appointed its non-executive director for another four years.
Forty two-year-old, mum-of-three, Donna Briant has held this role at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup since 2002.
Her duties include investigating how the hospital can be improved for both patients and the public, most recently looking at whether visiting hours could be changed. Ms Briant has also been a Labour councillor for the Thamesmead East ward since 1986 holding positions including leader of the council.
She said: "Queen Mary's is my local hospital. I look forward to continuing my work representing the community this hospital serves as sympathetically and professionally as possible."
