TALES TOLD: Children are being invited to story-telling sessions at Slade Green Library, Slade Green Road, Erith.
The sessions run every Thursday in term time and are open to children aged four and over. Refreshments are served from 3.30pm and the story-telling gets underway at 4pm.
FLU JABS: A drop-in session is being held for people wanting a flu jab at the Broadway Centre Clinic, 245 Broadway, Bexleyheath. The session will be held between 9.30am to 12.30pm on January 19.
FOUR STARS: Bexley Council has been awarded a top four-star rating from the Government's Comprehensive Performance Assessment. The assessment focused on the delivery of key services, including social care and children's services.
HALL HISTORY: Tickets are available for a historical talk by Oliver Wooller on Hall Place in the Twentieth Century' at Hall Place, Bourne Road, at 7.30pm on February 8. Call 020 8836 7470.
