PAIR CHARGED: Robert Talbot, aged 28, of The Old School House, Starts Hill Road, Farnborough, and Adam Talbot, aged 18, of Phoenix Lodge, The Woodlands, Bromley, will appear at Kingston Crown Court on January 17. They are charged with conspiracy to commit burglary across south east London and Kent.
TREE BARRIER: Yobs used Christmas trees to make a barrier across Church Road, Biggin Hill, to stop cars coming through. A driver who got out to move them around 7.30pm on Friday was verbally abused. The youths also threw trees at passing vehicles and the bumper of one car driving along Kings Road was dented.
RAISING FUNDS: Students from Kelsey Park Sports College, Manor Way, Beckenham, have raised £1,038 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children through a variety of events last year. The charity will open a new hospice in Wensley Close, Eltham, next spring.
FLAT PLANS: Oracle Homes Ltd has applied to Bromley Council to demolish The Clock House pub, Beckenham Road, Beckenham, and petrol station to build two four-storey blocks of 32 one-bedroom flats and 27 two-bedroom flats.
JUMP THREAT: A 37-year-old man was arrested after threatening to jump off a railway viaduct near Mill Brook Road, St Mary Cray, at 1am on Saturday morning. He was charged with obstruction of the railway, trespass and assault.
