CRIME CONCERNS: A street surgery will be held by Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) on January 18 between 10am and 4pm to for residents of Wallis Street and Perry Street, Gravesend, to discuss their concerns. PCSOs Debra Coker-Barnes and Craig Harris will set up the mobile police station in Lawrence Square which can be accessed from Haynes Road.
GET SPORTY: A sports fair will be held on January 21 at Gravesend Library in Windmill Street, Gravesend. It will offer information on local sports organisations. ON SALE: Gravesend Methodist Church will hold a table top sale on January 28 at its hall in Wilfred Street, near the clock tower. The sale takes place between 10am and 1.30pm and admission is 20p. Anyone interested in having a stall should call 01474 812686.

HOAX CALLS: Kent Fire and Rescue Service is urging residents not to make hoax 999 calls. The service has recently received a number of false emergency calls. For details, visit kent.fire-uk.org
