A MANDOLIN virtuoso starts off a series of classical music recitals in Bromley. The Ripley Recitals Association opens its 38th season with a performance by top mandolin soloist Alison Stephens at the Ripley Arts Centre on January 21.
Alison has performed around the world, including concerts in Australia, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.
Her projects include several recordings, her own show on Radio 4 and working on the music for the hit Hollywood film Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
The recital features pieces by Bach, Strauss and Calace.
Also on the programme is Alison's own composition La Tristezza D'Inverno.
