SWANLEY is the venue for music, murder and intrigue. The gangsters and molls of the Swanley Light Opera Group are staging the distinctively titled musical The Night Maxi Tortellini Hit Big Lola Labtrobe's, which opens next week.
The show is set in the dangerous glamour of 1920s Chicago Lola Latrobe's Nightclub to be precise and features the speakeasy-style music of the period.
The club seethes with naive, romantic showgirls, jaded musicians and ruthless hoods.
The Night Maxi Tortellini Hit Big Lola Labtrobe's, January 10 - 20, Woodlands Theatre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, 7.45pm, £7/£6 concs, 01474 703448.
