PLANS to turn a former police station into 50 flats have been put on hold.
Housing Association Asra took over ownership of Shooters Hill police station, Well Hall Road, Eltham, in September. It then lodged an application with Greenwich Council to build a £10m block of flats on the site.
But its initial application has now been turned down.
The plans were rejected by the council's chief planning officer because of fears the development was too big for the area.
Asra now has the chance to revise its plans.
