A COUNCIL has won recognition for its achievements in reducing energy use for a second time.
Bexley Council has been given accreditation for its commitment and performance in energy management by The Institute of Energy.
The Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme is the country's only independent award recognising achievements in the management and use of energy.
The accreditation measures an organisation's commitment and performance in energy conservation against several factors, including management, investment and recorded improvements.
The council was first accredited in 2002 and has now been awarded re-accreditation for the period of September 2005 September 2008.
