SUPERMARKET staff became firefighters for the day when they tackled an arson attack in the crisp aisle.
Two staff from Asda in Station Road, Greenhithe, noticed the area alight and put out the flames with fire extinguishers.
A man was captured on CCTV hanging around the store on January 4 and acting suspiciously.
Police are looking for the man, described as white, aged between 28 and 33, 5ft 8in tall with dark brown hair.
He was wearing a brown parka-style jacket with a fur hood, a dark jumper and a dark shirt.
Store manager Max Scarff said: "It is quite a bit of money this guy cost us."
