DECISION DELAYED: A decision on plans to demolish Borthwick Wharf has again been delayed. The proposal to build 247 new homes on the site was due to be considered by Greenwich Council's planning board on December 13 but was pulled from the agenda. Last month News Shopper reported how two previous meetings were also cancelled.
SAFETY SURVEY: More than 300 people have so far responded to a rail safety survey commissioned by Lewisham Council. The survey, launched earlier this month, aims to find out from commuters how safety at the borough's rail, DLR and underground stations can be improved. To take part, visit lewisham.gov.uk
GAME ON: Greenwich and Woolwich MP Nick Raynsford says the 2012 Olympics have the potential to "transform human and social infrastructure" in the borough for "years to come". Mr Raynsford was speaking during a House of Commons debate.
