WORK is due to start on the refurbishment of Woodville Halls theatre.
As part of a £4.9m Gravesham Council project, many parts of the building will receive a facelift.
Improvements include a cafe bar, a new lift, online ticket booking and new toilets in the West End Suite.
There will also be licensed outdoor patio area, additional security and CCTV cameras, new seating, new box office and a modern design for the dressing room.
The theatre work will cost £1.2m and will be completed by the end of the year.
