A HOME library delivery service is giving people unable to carry or move heavy books the chance to read.
Gravesend Central Library has 16 volunteers who bring a selection of books, audio cassettes and videos to residents' homes.
The service is available to people of any age who cannot make the journey and carry heavy books.
Staff select a range of books suited to the genre the person is interested in.
Volunteers then deliver the books to the resident's door.
The service is available in Meopham, Gravesend town centre, Northfleet and Higham.
