A FITNESS instructor has been brutally murdered almost two years to the day after his brother was killed in the same area.
Billy Gregory, 23, was glassed at the Earl of Chatham pub, Thomas Street, Woolwich, in the early hours of Christmas Eve.
The attack took place just half a mile from the spot in Woolwich Church Street, where his brother Terry was murdered on December 28, 2003.
Billy, of Hickin Close, Charlton, suffered puncture wounds to his throat following the attack.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, but he died on Christmas morning.
Lifeguard Terry Gregory, 19, died after he was stabbed nine times following a row at a bus stop.
No one has been convicted of his murder after two trials collapsed.
