THOUSANDS of people joined a host of celebrities in walking off their Christmas turkey for a good cause.
Residents of all ages braved the cold weather to take part in the Fairy London Walk, at Greenwich Park.
They were joined on the one-mile trek by star names such as celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott and former Hear'say singer turned TV presenter Myleene Klass.
There was also plenty of entertainment to keep the walkers amused, including live music, storytelling and face painting.
Event organisers say they hope to have raised around £60,000 for the Make a Wish charity.
The charity aims to make poorly youngsters' wishes come true, by arranging for them to have days out or meet their heroes.
