POLICE are hunting an armed robber who left a petrol station worker "fearing for his life".
The robber threatened the cashier with a kitchen knife at the BP service station, Edgington Way, Orpington.
He then jumped over the counter and took cigarettes and cash.
His victim fled, fearing he was going to be stabbed.
The robber, believed to be in his early 30s, threatened the cashier again before running out of the shop.
Bromley police have now issued CCTV footage taken at the time of the robbery, which took place at around 5.30am on November 14.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Peter Sturge said: "This man is dangerous. The cashier genuinely feared for his life.
"I would ask everyone to look at these CCTV pictures and if they recognise the suspect, please call us.
"It is important this man is found as soon as possible."
The robber is white, around 6ft tall and has short, brown hair. He was wearing a blue and white jacket and blue trousers.
Anyone with information should call 020 8284 9966 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
