POLICE are hunting an armed robber who left a petrol station worker "fearing for his life".
The robber threatened the cashier with a knife, at the BP service station, Edgington Way, Orpington.
He then jumped over the counter and took cigarettes and cash, as his victim fled, fearing he was going to be stabbed.
The robber, thought to be in his early 30s, then threatened the cashier again before running from the shop.
Bromley police have now issued CCTV footage taken at the time of the robbery, which took place at around 5.30am, on November 14.
They are appealing to Bexley residents because of the close proximaty of the garage to Sidcup.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Peter Sturge said: "This man is dangerous. The cashier genuinely feared for his life.
"It is important this man is found as soon as possible."
The robber is white, around 6ft tall, with short brown hair and was wearing a blue and white jacket and blue trousers.
Anyone with information should call 020 8284 9966 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
