DANCE TIME: New music and movement classes for the under-fives have been set up. The Jo Jingles group offers music, singing and dancing for children aged one to five years old. DISCO CASH: Dartford Grammar School for Girls raised £845 for the north west Kent branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The money was raised by pupils who took part in a disco and non-uniform day. The money will be used to help patients and their carers.
CANAL CHARITY: Thames and Medway Canal Association has applied to become a registered charity. The group submitted a formal application to the Charity Commission. The process is expected to be ready in time for the group's annual general meeting in April.
GIFT MONEY: A bazaar held at the Livingstone Hospital, East Hill, Dartford, raised more than £500. The money was used to buy Christmas presents for patients.
