IT was a chance for Bexley's Afro-Caribbean community to show off its vibrant cultural life at a showcase of activities.
The free event, organised by Bexley Afro-Caribbean Community Association, was held at Crayford Town Hall, Crayford Road, and the audience included MPs, councillors and Bexley mayor Councillor John Shepheard.
The afternoon of fun included a fashion show, ethnic food, dance, music and poetry.
There were also speakers talking about motivation and mentoring.
