RESIDENTS living on the troubled Ocean Park estate have received door-to-door reassurance work is in place to solve the problems.
Staff from Bexley's Community Safety Partnership, Orbit Bexley and Hyde housing associations and officers from the Community Safety Action Zone policing team have toured the estate.
They have been knocking on doors on the estate in Erith, talking to people about the work the partnership is doing to clamp down on anti-social behaviour.
They have also urged residents to come forward with information about any incidents to help take a stand against crime on the estate.
Residents are being encouraged to fill in diary sheets detailing incidents which will be used as evidence against individuals causing trouble.
The sheets can be obtained by calling freephone 0800 398 5013 and returned anonymously or at the council's website at bexley.gov.uk/communitysafety
People can also use the free number to report problems or call the police on 999 if a crime is in progress.
