STUDIOUS children have been handed a boost to their learning.
Youngsters who attend the Reconcilers Childrens' Club now have 11 new computers to work with, thanks to a £5,000 Government grant.
The club, run by volunteers every Saturday at Scotney Hall, Sharratt Street, New Cross, offers children help with their learning and homework.
Group leader Rev Vincent Onwukanjo says the new kit will help provide even better support.
He said: "The children can use the internet to research and download things which are useful for their studies.
"They love the new computers."
The money comes from regeneration group the New Cross Gate New Deal for Communities.
The club is looking for new members and parent helpers. Call 020 7639 3337 or 07956 651365.
