TEENAGER ATTACKED: A 17-year-old boy was assaulted while crossing London Road, Swanley, at 4.15pm on November 18.
The driver of a silver Vauxhall car pulled up next to the boy, got out and punched the victim in the head. The attacker is white, around 6ft 2in tall and aged between 25 and 30. Anyone with information about the attack should call the police on 01474 538070.
TREE FESTIVAL: Spital Street Methodist Church, Dartford, will hold its seventh Christmas tree festival until Saturday. Visitors will get a chance to see more than 30 trees decorated by charities from across the borough between 10am and 4pm each day. Refreshments will be available. IN THE SWIM: Five pupils, aged between 14 and 16, from Gravesend Grammar School, Church Walk, raised £100 for charity by swimming 103 lengths in 55 minutes. The swimathon was held at Fairfield Pool and organised by Dartford Lions Club. The cash will be used to boost funds at the Lions Hospice, Gravesend.
