PRIMARY schools in Bromley have scored highly in the recently released league tables.
The league is based on results from last summer term's Key Stage 2 tests in English, maths and science.
Bromley Local Education Authority (LEA) finished in 35th place out of 160 LEAs.
All the pupils at Chislehurst (St Nicholas) Church of England Primary School, School Road, Chislehurst, achieved the expected level for each test. The school is only one of 229 nationally to achieve this.
Malcolm Primary School, Malcolm Road, Penge, is ranked as the 22nd most-improved school in the country.
A Bromley Council spokesman said: "The results published by the Department for Education and Skills confirm Bromley as a high-attaining authority. Bromley continues to offer particular support to those schools with lower results."
