GETTING down from a loft proved difficult for a man who had to be rescued when his fingers got trapped.
The resident of Boswell House, Crown Lane, Bromley, was left dangling through his loft hatch held up only by his trapped fingers after his loft ladder fell down.
His neighbour broke into his flat after hearing his screams and called the fire brigade and an ambulance at 3.17pm last Saturday.
Firefighters sawed the loft hatch in half to free the man while the ambulance crew gave him gas and air.
It took 45 minutes for the man to be rescued.
He was taken to hospital with three broken fingers.
