SHARING is the secret to a long and happy marriage, according to a couple celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary.
Marjorie and Albert Mills, aged 82 and 85 respectively, of Bexley Road, Eltham, have shared everything throughout their 60-year marriage.
This includes the diamond wedding telegram they received from the Queen for being married for 60 years.
Retired cashier Mrs Mills said: "We have always shared. Nothing has been mine, it has always belonged to both of us."
The couple celebrated their anniversary by holding an open house and entertaining lots of friends and family members during the day.
They got married in the Our Lady of Delours Servite Church, Fulham Road, Chelsea, on December 1, 1945.
Mr Mills was formerly a civil servant. The couple have three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
