VISITORS to Catford town centre got into the Christmas spirit at the weekend.
Catford Shopping Centre hosted a festive street market where people had the chance to sample free mince pies and sip on mulled wine.
Carol singers were on hand to entertain shoppers in Catford Broadway.
Father Christmas made his way from Lapland to Catford Library to give presents to children.
He also entertained them with festive stories.
Before he arrived the youngsters also had the chance to write a wish list and decorate the Christmas tree at the library in Catford Road, Catford.
Lewisham Mayor Steve Bullock said the day of events in Catford were a "wonderful way" for families to enjoy the start of a "special season".
