BEXLEY Primary Care Trust has urged people not to panic about flu vaccine supplies.
It had admitted some Bexley GPs have run out of supplies of the vaccine but say the numbers are very small.
A trust spokesman said: "The trust has used its contingency stock to supply practices which have run short of vaccines and has also arranged drop-in clinics."
The trust has also ordered reserve supplies from the Department of Health.
January is often the worst month for flu, so there is still time for people to get immunised, and it would encourage those at risk to do so.
