FAMILIES who have lost a child are being invited to attend a memorial service organised by Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
The service is taking place in St John's Church, Church Road, Sidcup, on December 13 at 11.30am.
Anyone whose child has died, whether in the early stages of pregnancy or as an older child, can attend.
People are being invited to hang an angel on the Christmas tree and light a candle in their child's memory.
The event has been organised by the hospital's chaplaincy service and its bereavement team.
Afterwards, the tree, covered with angels, will be taken to the hospital chapel.
It will remain in the chapel throughout the Christmas period.
