FORCE PARCEL: Today and tomorrow are the last dates to drop off Christmas parcels for British troops abroad. The parcels are being collected from 11.30am onwards tomorrow starting at Sainsbury's in Bexleyheath and ending at 3.30pm at Sainsbury's in Crayford. Tomorrow they will also be collected from Dartford Council offices in Home Gardens at 1.30pm and the town's Sainsbury's store at 2.30pm.
MAST PLAN: Welling residents will not be able to stop plans by Hutchison 3G to site a mobile phone mast on the corner of Central Avenue and Wickham Street. Ward councillors Rick Everitt and John Lawrenson have discovered the mast is classified as a permitted development and does not need planning permission.
WILD TIME: Work to increase the diversity of wildlife in Lesnes Abbey Woods takes place this Sunday with the Lesnes Abbey Conservation Volunteers. The work begins at noon and ends at 3.30pm. Call 020 8317 3748.
