THE decision on the Gurdwara's boundary walls has been delayed for the second time four months after builders first downed tools.
Gravesham Council said a verdict would be made on the Sikh temple by the end of November but a conclusion has still not been reached.
Building work was brought to a halt in August after the walls, off Khalsa Road, were built over the maximum height of 2m.
Planning permission for the walls, which now stand at 2.4m, was applied for retrospectively and the council's planning committee could now ask for the walls to be demolished.
A council spokesman said: "Following a productive meeting with the architect and site manager on November 25, we have discussed design changes and additional landscaping.
"It is hoped a final agreement will be made in the near future."
