A FATHER-OF-ONE has been jailed for 80 days and disqualified from driving for three years after admitting two motoring offences.

Wayne Albone, of York Road, Northfleet, appeared before Dartford Magistrates' Court after admitting driving while disqualified and without insurance.

The offences occured in Gravesend.

Victoria Hart, mitigating, said Albone had experienced a "difficult life" with no contact with his father and his mother, a long-term heroin addict, was in and out of prison.

She added 18-year-old Albone had recently learnt his one-year-old son was to be put up for adoption.

During sentencing on November 28, chairman of the bench John Loughlin told the court he had taken into account Albone's previous convictions of a similar nature, committed when he was a juvenile.
