A CHURCH is bathing in the light of more than 30 Christmas trees put up by charities.
Spital Street Methodist Church, Spital Street, Dartford, has launched its seventh annual Christmas Tree Festival, which is sponsored by Dartford Council.
Each tree is decorated by a charity, with contributors including the Ellenor Hospice, Anthony Nolan Trust, Mencap, Demelza House, and the RSPCA.
Residents are invited to view the trees and make donations to their preferred charities.
Refreshments and charity Christmas cards are also available to buy.
Mayor Councillor Ian Armitt opened the display on December 3.
He said: "The Christmas Tree Festival is a wonderful charity event which embraces the traditional values of Christmas."
The display will run until Saturday and is open from 10am to 4pm.
