A CHOIR sang Christmas carols at visitors' requests for six hours to raise money for a church.
Visitors to St Botolph's Church Christmas bazaar and carolathon could make requests for their favourite Christmas song.
The 20 members of the choir took turns having breaks so the singing lasted for a full six hours.
A bazaar was also held with stalls boasting sweets, cakes, a tombola and a lucky dip.
The £1,200 raised will be used to pay for the upkeep of St Botolph's Church in The Hill, Northfleet.
Both events were held within the church so people could look around the interior of the building.
Churchgoer Derek Wilkinson said: "I think it went quite well as it is something we have not done before.
"We are quite pleased with it."
