SHOPPERS can experience an innovative Christmas treat by tobogganing down what is thought to be the UK's biggest inflatable slide.
Dartford-based Castlemania Leisure thinks its 45ft-high and 80ft-long Christmas toboggan slide could be the first in the world.
Children and adults can ride down the slide on inflatable tyres in Bluewater throughout Christmas.
The slide is festively decorated and features a 28ft-high log cabin at the top.
The company are running a session of free rides to children from special needs school Willow Dene School, Swingate Lane, Plumstead.
Owner Dave Anderson said inflating and deflating the three-tonne slide takes an hour each morning and night.
He said: "It is a fun sport for mums, dads and children."
The slide is open from 10am to 10pm every day and costs £4 for five minutes.
