LIBRARY visitors had the opportunity to ask questions about their area to experts at a local history fair.
Several historians were on hand at Gravesend Library, Windmill Street, Gravesend, to answer queries about the past.
There were representatives from the Gravesend Historical Society, Northfleet Historical Group, Shorne Local History Group and library staff.
The day marked the first local history fair to be held at the library.
Visitors could buy historical stocking fillers including books about Gravesend and pamphlets featuring the story of Pocahontas.
They also viewed displays of the history groups' work.
Senior community librarian Zoe Gray said: "Hopefully we will repeat it next year.
"There were general queries about the area."
