MOVIEGOERS can now also enjoy a laugh with some of the country's finest young comic talent. The Laughterhouse Comedy Club has agreed a deal with the new Greenwich Picturehouse Cinema to stage a monthly comedy night.
The show, which will be held on the first Thursday of each month, will feature up-and-coming comedians such as Brendan Riley and Perrier award nominee Jason Manford.
Laughterhouse director Adam Franklin says he is confident the comedy nights at the Picturehouse will be a great success.
He said: "The deal with the Picturehouse marks a significant milestone for the comedy club, as it's our first in London."
The Picturehouse, Greenwich High Road, features four screens and an organic tapas cafe. For information call 08707 550065.
