CHILDREN got into the festive spirit to help pay for their new playground.
The annual Christmas fair at Stillness Infant School, Brockley Rise, Brockley, raised more than £1,000 for playground equipment.
Pupils and parents ran craft and gift stalls, while children had the chance to meet Father Christmas and play festive games.
Money raised at the fair, which was organised by parents' group the Friends of Stillness Infants, will also pay for a complete refurbishment of the school playground.
Organiser Catherine Foxwell said: "We are desperate for the money. The playground really needs a makeover.
"The children had a fabulous time and it got them in the mood for Christmas."
