IT WAS another bumper effort for the Parents' Association at Old Bexley CofE Primary School at its annual Christmas fair.
The event at the school in Hurst Road, Bexley Village, featured all the traditional trimmings, such as Father Christmas in his grotto.
There were also some modern additions such as a jewellery stall and hair braiding.
It also attracted raffle prizes such as a flat-screen television, a Gameboy and an iPod Nano.
The fete is expected to raise around £6,000 for school funds.
Last year the association raised more than £31,000 for the school to help with projects such as providing soft play and other play equipment for the newly-refurbished playground.
Now cash is needed to buy portable IT trolleys and to pay for work on the school's new environmental areas.
