GOLDSMITHS' student union magazine fended off competition from universities all over the UK to win two prestigious media awards.
Smiths, the university's student magazine, collected the Student Publication of the Year Award at the Guardian student media awards.
Its editor, Jaimie Hodgson also picked up the runner-up in the Best Feature Writer category at the National Union of Students/Daily Mirror Awards 10 days later.
Smiths also collected runner-up in both The Guardian and Small Publication of the Year categories.
Jaimie Hodgson said: "Smiths thrives on its gritty, bold style. We tried to include the diverse student environment that is Goldsmiths, representing it in the most vivid and humourous way.
"I am really proud of what we have done with Smiths."
