A "DANGEROUS" man is still on the run, more than a year after he was supposed to stand trial for a violent assault.
Neil Wheeler, aged 39, failed to appear at Woolwich Crown Court, on October 21 last year, where he was due to be tried for causing GBH with intent.
Now Bromley police have released this picture of Wheeler in the hope someone can tell them of his whereabouts.
Wheeler, of Phillippa Gardens, Eltham, was charged following an assault on a 50-year-old man in Plaistow Lane, Bromley, in June 2002.
The victim, who was left hospitalised for a week after the attack, was punched in the face before having his leg sandwiched in a car door.
Police say Wheeler should not be approached as he is "considered to be dangerous".
Anyone with information should call Bromley police on 020 8284 8715.
