TRAVEL SONGS: Harris HospisCare wants singers to entertain commuters and raise money. Carols will be sung every Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Beckenham Junction Station until December 21. SEASONAL SAWING: There will be seven places in the borough to recycle Christmas trees. These include Norman Park, Hook Farm Road, Bromley Common and Charles Darwin School, Jail Lane, Biggin Hill. SPEAKER TALK: Former Speaker of the House of Commons Lord Weatherill is speaking at Petts Wood Methodist Church, Queensway, Petts Wood. He will talk about his life and faith on December 11 at 6.30pm. Call 01689 821956.
