A CHRISTMAS fair is serious business for children taking part in a new project to teach them about money.
Pupils at Pratts Bottom Primary School, Hookwood Road, Pratts Bottom, have done all the planning for the fair.
They have chosen what stalls they want to run, made Christmas decorations and gifts and decided what to buy with the money raised.
The project was idea of the school's new headteacher Janice Box.
She said: "I think it gives them more of a purpose.
"They have to decide what to do and put all their planning into a proper business way of looking at things."
The fair takes place on Friday from 2.30pm to 4pm.
